“Braxton Jones
Best Landing spot: Cleveland Browns
PFF Free-Agent Ranking: 56
Of the Browns’ top seven offensive linemen in snap volume this past season, six are scheduled to enter free agency, including four of their five Week 1 starters. With numerous spots to fill and little cap space ($3.21 million) to address the situation, Cleveland will have to unearth cost-effective options.
At 27 years old, Braxton Jones could profile as a potential long-term piece of the puzzle while not breaking the bank. Injury limited him to just four games this past season, but he showcased talent as a run blocker over his prior three seasons. His PFF grades as both a gap (95th percentile) and zone (80th percentile) blocker over that span would fit well with a Browns offense that wants to run the ball.”

If he’s willing to come to Cleveland then I would be willing to give him a shot, assuming he isn’t after a crazy expensive deal that we can’t afford.
I thought we’re expecting 40m in cap once contracts are reworked. Surprised pff wouldn’t account for that?
That $3.21 million number is junk. We wouldn’t even be able to sign draft picks. I’m expecting 50-80 million cap space after Berry does his annual kick-the-can-down-the-road.
The real problem is there isn’t a lot of o-line players available to sign even if we had more cap.
Our line already has an injury-prone Jones, I am not sure we need another.
Crazy how so many people don’t know how to run the cap effectively
excited for every other fanbase to read that 3.21 number and keep referring to us as being in “cap hell” forever
Browns OL is so screwed with very limited funds to sign anyone. They have no choice but to draft like 3 or 4 OL this year. That’s the only way to afford anyone.
I know Jedrick Wills was a mixed bag, but has he said anything about coming back this year? Or is he done playing football?
