Vrabel greeted everyone after the game, and supported them, we need to support him. Devastated.

  1. I’m a big Patriots fan, but I think he will be OK. Most of us would take losing a football game if we got a salary he got.

  2. He did a master class job coaching this team which won 4 games the year before. Absolutely amazing job. He should hold his head up high but I understand why he’s devastated. Amazing coach.

  3. He’s a great coach. He also makes around $15,000,000 per year as a head coach. He will be ok.

  4. It’s a learning experience and all the chuckleheads that say otherwise aren’t true Pats fans.

  5. Love vrable but he’s part of the reason they lost Sunday…the absolute stubbornness sticking with a less then 100% will Campbell alone killed us

  6. At the end of the day, Vrabel put us back on top of the AFC. The literal top. We have a good future

  7. They had a massive turnaround his first year as coach. So far I’d say this is a really successful rebuilding.

  8. People dismissing that games impact aren’t taking into account not only how hard it is to get there but how fucking long it takes.

They’ve been practicing since July. Games from September-early February. To get that far and not get it must be completely devastating on a number of different levels.

He, they, got out coached. Which obviously is gonna happen sometimes but there’s a lot of woulda coulda that comes from a game like that.

The baffling offensive gameplan is one of the obvious ones but a decision like playing or not playing Campbell is a tough one. You sit him you might lose him forever. If they sat him maybe Drake isn’t literally looking over his shoulder while trying to throw the ball. It’s not an easy job.

Heavy lies the crown and all that bullshit but I still feel for the guy. Feel for guys like Drake who had an incredible season but now knows that every heckler he runs into is gonna bring up his worst sporting moment. But I especially feel for a player like Gonzo who was up to the task and delivered all game but still comes away with nothing.

That SB sucked ass on so many levels. Only way to erase it is to get back and win one.

  9. From everything I’ve seen/heard Vrabel is a great guy and a great coach. Glad he is coaching the Pats. Next year will be tougher for sure.

  10. Sorry… In till don’t understand what is going on with this fanbase. Top 10 Patriots season ever. Coach of the year. QB was second in the MVP voting. 1 offseason to build a roster. Made the GD Super Bowl.

This is New England. We don’t hang ‘AFC champ’ banners, but there isn’t a QB or coach I would pick instead.

    Too much ESPN.

  11. Hope he’s our coach until he calls it quits. To take a 4 win team to a Super Bowl in his first fucking season? Cmon now. Send this man his flowers and respect.

One of the best parts about him is that players genuinely want to play for the guy which will help the team attract FA’s as we saw this past offseason. Dudes a players coach through and through. Love it!

  12. I will waiting for next season. As a fan you guys had a great season and I am proud to be a Patriots fan ❤️

  13. He is possibly the best head coach in the NFL right now. I’m excited to see what he can do as he builds the team. It normally takes a couple of years for a coach to clean house and make the team to their liking.

  14. my heart dropped watching this video. you could tell how much he was hurting and felt some of the guilt but put on a brave face for the players. great guy. really hope he stays in New England for years to come

  15. Honestly with Vrabel as our head coach I have zero doubts that we’ll never be a competitive football team. He’s an outstanding coach and a better person

  16. Bro. Going 3 quarters with 0 points is a failure no matter what the game is.

I’m just calling it as it is.

By halftime, you should of been switching the playbook around.

  17. Love how much heart vrabel puts into this team. I expected him to be a real hard ass when we took him but he hasn’t came off that way and I think it’s a good thing. He will throw on pads but will sit down with a guy if that’s what’s needed as well.

Love how he runs everything from making sure the female reporters get represented, being humble, having his guys backs when most people are out on them, the stuff like that which shows character. Proud to have that guy as our coach

  18. Man. I felt this. His sigh and hands on hips. Who does he talk to? After all he is human. As a player you have peers and maybe even asst coaches have each other. But the head coach probably only has his family and maybe a therapist? But even then they dont have the “peer” relationship. Leadership is lonely.

  19. Pats showed up. I consider this the end of the Seahawks revenge tour. Respect.

People want to call it a blow out like the first half wasn’t all field goals. The teams were pretty evenly matched, you guys have a great defense. I was anxious as hell up until 4Q.

  20. Ill always root for the Pats until im on my deathbed.

Guys like Vrabes? Remind me why I love football even though its such a violent sport there is so many genuine bonds built.

This man has care for this team and it showed all year. While the team didnt bring back the trophy they brought back something else thats been missing around here for ages. Accountability and respect.

  21. What a great fucking season this was. It was a heart breaking superbowl, but god damn this was a fucking good season, I’m already so fucking hyped for next season..

  22. if anything this loss rly showed how Vrabel and Maye are true leaders. its easy to lead when you’re winning.

  23. The young Eagles led by Jalen Hurts lost to the Chiefs in a game in which their offense lit it up but their defense couldn’t get it done. Two years later they rematched. The offense still lit it up, but this time their defense dominated.

Pats offense is led by an inexperienced QB, with some talent lacking in the weapons and the line. They’ve got room to grow.

  24. Our O-line is the only reason we lost. Our defense held them off so long but they were exhausted and our offence didn’t get any points to prevent them from taking a huge lead. He’s not blaming himself I’m sure. He’s probably mind blown at how bad our O-line did. Especially when it came to protecting Drake Maye.

  25. They lost a football game to a better team. That’s the nature of competitive sports. There’s winning and losing involved. It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last. He will be fine. You will be fine.

  26. VRABEL FOREVER! We love him, I was glad to see fans meet and thank him arriving back. I truly think he wants it more than anybody.

  27. you can’t simulate how their 4 man front will affect our offensive line, they underestimated it, they were under prepared for it, they got beat by it. It’s tough because they usually excell in these areas. What if Drake played like Mike Vick? Did they prepare that way…I was kinda hoping his legs would win the game, I thought it was a must…but that line was too much, and then when Drake did have time to throw, he missed his throws. So when Drake can’t be Drake, the offense couldn’t go. Thank god for Mack Hollins he’s been clutch all year. They needed the 6th olineman often but only used it once. It was a flawed game for the Pats as a team, they all had a bad day at the same time on offense.
