Steph has responded to the Slater report

  1. I can understand how the whole contract negotiation thing could have been hanging over the team but nobody on the Warriors has had a bad thing to say about JK.

Cool to see Steph support him and hope he does well with Atlanta, good for all sides that he’s found a new team.

  2. Like let’s all just move the hell on. Let the dude go ball in ATL. I wish him well. I’ll even be happy if he becomes an all star. Just wasn’t the right fit.

  3. Someone is leaking this garbage and it’s a terrible look whoever it is. I don’t care if it’s a player, Steve, Mike or ownership.

This whole Kuminga fiasco is a terrible look for the Warriors as a whole.

  4. Does anyone know who is responsible for these type of articles? Is it someone from the warriors putting out hit pieces or just reporters desperate for a scoop?

  5. This bit of the story is beneath Slater. This is what’s referred to as Notebook Emptying, when a writer decides to make use of accumulated, miscellaneous notes after a player is traded.

This ‘too much food’ bullshit was probably some aside someone mentioned once, like “dude’s friends are always grabbing 30 Uncrustables from the family room,” and he dumped it now since he’d have no other use for it with JK gone.

    Honestly, pretty weak sauce.

  6. Damn, usually I roll with Slater and loved him during his Warriors Plus Minus days, but this report was unnecessary and frankly, dumb as hell.

  7. It’s just a bad look for the Warriors org. Hit pieces on all the young players after they ship them out (in Jordan Pooles case it was a literal hit lol 😆)

  8. Beneath Slater? Is anything really “beneath Slater?” Sports “journalism” has turned into writing about what the team decides to leak that day. Video of The Punch was a journalistic scoop but that was ages ago

  9. This organization is going to have a hard time after Steph. Your franchise GOAT has to go on socials and call this ish ridiculous in defense of Kuminga…

  10. I came on here couple weeks ago when these bogus ass stories were coming and telling yall these writers are either fed lies or they are making things up. Slater is an organization mouth piece and was assigned to write a hit piece on JK to make the dubs look better if Porzingis trade doesn’t work out.

  11. I’m sure the entire team is just tired of this saga tbh. Past is the past, gotta move on

  12. steph jumping in the comments like that is elite leader energy 😭

“go be great” while shutting down the rumors is such a calm superstar move. warriors group chat probably hilarious right now 💀🔥

  13. It’s Lacob’s fault. He and his son have been behind the vast majority of bad decisions over the last decade. He’s had very little to do with the success of the team other than signing paychecks. Remember, the dynasty was built by Jerry West, not some arrogant Silicon Valley douchebag who thinks he knows basketball because he’s a majority owner…

  14. Is it just me or did the bleacher report ig page remove this post? I saw it earlier as well as the comments from buddy, jk, and Steph but i can’t find it anymore

  15. Is anyone really dumb enough to think Steph or any player would bash kuminga anyway? Hes off the team, no point in any player taking shots at him
