  1. missed the annual julian strawther gets minutes game

  2. Positives from tonight:

    Nuggs won

    Bruce playing frisky

    CB shakes more rust off

    Julian gets valuable development minutes

    That’s it

  3. I’m going to need Joker to do anything in his power to get off the floor within the first minute of the all star game on Sunday. Swing on somebody like Isaiah Stewart. Call the refs bad words but not misogynistically like Shen Goon. 6 fouls in 1 minute. Genuinely anything.

This brother is clearly HURTING still and needs some more damn time off.

  4. as rough of a win that was at least it was a win going into the break. gotta rest and recuperate and hopefully we’ll come back with more in the tank

  5. How the heck did we struggle against this JV team who was missing their key players? we barely beat a sub .500 team. A win is a win, but it’s not looking good

(Yes I know we are missing players too)

  6. Just a reminder to all the fans that are enjoying this win- we do have a pretty cool alt game thread for each game. If you’re not a miserable cunt we’d enjoy having you after the break.

  7. Nuggets are in this weird purgatory of guys who are coming back from being injured being fatigued and guys who were over played when everyone was out being fatigued hopefully it will be better after the break

  8. Team desperately needs rest and Spenny J. A W is a W. I honestly wouldn’t dig too deep or try to evaluate this team rn. Who knows what sort of form they’ll be in post all-star, just gotta wait and hope for the best.

  9. Thank god we won man. I hate when people say regular season doesnt matter, seeding doesnt matter like they are Jimmy Butler. The only season we won the chip we were one seed. The next year we lost to last place tanking Spurs and gave first seed so we got Timberwolves match up on second round. Last year we lost against shit teams like Wizards to barely get 4th so we had to play Clippers then Okc in second round when we could’ve get second seed. Seems like seeding does matter alot and you gotta win against shit teams so you can have some leeway when you lose to good teams in regular season.

  10. my goat spenny will bring life back into this roster, just wait until next week when he drops 8/8 from 3 and clamps up kawhi

  11. Jokic has been foul baiting and talking to the refs a lot since he came back from injury. Will be interesting to see if it has been more about trying to figure out what the refs will let him get away with during a part of the season that he doesn’t care as much about and he locks in after break, or if this continues through the rest of the season.

If the latter, my concern is he is going to get an even worse whistle because refs are sick of it and turnovers will continue to be high.

  12. Adelman said in the post-game he threw Bruce back in after Bruce told him he “tied his shoe tighter” after that ankle tweak he had.

I don’t know whether to laugh at how tough Bruce is or cry at how utterly nonchalant this team is with injuries.

  13. Don’t worry guys! We just need an unprecedented jump in defense, all of our injured guys to come back strong, and not give up 22 points off turnovers to an 11th seed team! Doomers btfo!

  14. I’m still baffled as to why we aren’t playing Nnaji at some PF minutes to help with rebounding and defense. We keep giving Pickett opportunities and I think what Zeke did during January deserves him some go time now with AG, PWatt and Spencer out. We have one guy over 6’7” healthy right now outside of Jokić and JV. Could Zeke really be that bad instead of running 4 guard lineups?

  15. Only reason this game was close was more stupid ass turnovers from Jokic. Until he cleans it up not going to get a lot of wins against good teams.

  16. I am so glad these guys get a physical & mental break.  It has been tough to watch this last stretch of games.  We miss Peyton’s youth and energy.  IMO

Jokic isn’t in the best shape.  Is his belly bulging more than normal?  I hope he hits it hard after the break.  Jamal seems gassed, and Christian & Cam are still getting their groove back.

After all these obstacles, we deserve a fully healthy playoff run.  I think we win it if so.

  17. Welcome back home win. But 4th showed we are papering over some deeply concerning cracks. Our dawgs have turned into chihuahua.

  18. Can Jokic and Murry stop hunting foul and actually hoop. Especially jokic cause it ridiculously how much he’s been flopping or foul hunting.

  19. Ugh…we win so it’s fine but not a single concern I have was answered outside of maybe Braun looking better

  20. Doris Burke has said “I think this is the right call” like a dozen times since I tuned in.

  21. I would rate Adelman’s performance up to this break at 70/30. A true reconstructive surgery in Jokic’s absence. I don’t know if another high-profile coach in the league could achieve these results, considering our injury problems. Regarding Jokic’s last five games, I agree with the post-game interview against the Clippers, where he seemed extremely apprehensive about his physical condition and his return. Five games later, still hesitant. A wounded lion is still a lion. The break came at the right time. Jamal, All-NBA. And without a doubt, the face of the franchise’s second championship ring this year.

  22. Really happy with the win and how Braun’s been looking lately, but that 9 TOs from Jok is insane, and not his usual insane.
