  1. I grew up in Pittsburgh a Bradshaw fan as s boy in the 70's. In 2005 i went to an antique dealer here in Pittsburgh and he told me that Ben wouldnt sign autographs unless he got paid. I never liked Ben after that!

  2. Joey got no room to talk. Pretty sure Ben has said he was a dick and changed his life around. Funny thing is the only thing I remember Ben saying about Coach Tomlin is it’s probably time for a change and maybe he could take the Penn St job.

  3. The Rooney family very much wants a younger, talented, black head coach and must of came to the conclusion that one wasn't available this cycle. I think Mike is there as a placeholder until they identify some candidates that they like. I may disagree with the Rooney Rule (just hire who you believe is best available regardless of race or some other immutable characteristics), but I firmly believe that the Rooneys are sincere in wanting to promote more black coaches in order to balance out the black player to coach ratio. Big Mike will only be around until a "hot" black assistant makes a splash. While I can quibble about if that's the best way to make football decisions, I don't have any problems with them acting upon a sincerely held ethos. Tomlin wasn't a bad head coach, he just wasn't a great head coach and you can say that about 15ish coaches at any time. Tomlin seemed to be able to keep difficult personalities rowing in the same direction. I never hated Tomlin, I just never thought of him as an upper echelon head coach.

  4. Some truth to what Porter said? Yes, but I don't think it needed to be said. Comes off more like he's holding a grudge than anything else. Why hold it? He got a chip, got his son playing well for that same team. It's like, damn Joey you won at life, chill out.

  5. Daa’yum right Tomkin was “run off.” Actually, it was his lousy, unacceptable insufficiency in the post-season, inasmuch as that fraudulent media-contrived-running narrative of “winningest-most bestest-mediocre coach ever” fallacy forced upon the masses over the last decade that quickly became insufferable to those of us who know better.

  6. So Joey, why is he not a good teammate? What did he do or what didn’t he do? How come he’s foul and don’t say anything to me about rape allegations the dude never serve time in jail. Hell he didn’t even go to court for it. really I hate when players go on these podcast and say shit in the media and they don’t go into specifics.

  7. HOW is this shocking – has ANYONE asked Big Ben for an autograph or picture – dude was a complete arrogant prick – zero shock by this – always thought that's why God humbled him and he couldn't get beyond two SB's despite having squads that could have easily got 2-3 more.

  8. Yo I believe it's time for Pittsburgh to get rid of number 24 Joey Porter Jr kid does nothing but pass interference I mean and his dad does nothing but run his mouth

  9. Rome – can't believe you missed the true goldmine in the release of the 'Peezy Files.' When the Peezer counseled James Harrison around his 'Deebo' take on Coach T… imagine Peezy as the 'Voice of Reason' in any controversy ever?

  10. The criticism of MM is always disconnected from actual football. Its always about how it doesn't "feel" different or some other nonsense. The guy won 12 games 3 out of the last 4 years he coached. Hes developed multiple pro bowl quarterbacks (, Rogers, Prescott, Hasselback) and has a ring. Hes the best hire of the cycle if we are talking about just on the field stuff. But because he isn't skinny and 40 with a losing record he doesn't get labeled some wiz kid who just needs one more shot. The criticism of him is idiotic.

  11. From my perspective…the last few years of AARON and MIKE in Green Bay, Aaron didn't like Mike's play calling in certain situations, i.e against Seattle in that playoff game… Aaron felt Mike was being TOO conservative, when Aaron wanna to grip it and rip it, and fling the rock all over that yard…(Which I believe got Mike fired in GB)….BUT, Aaron's only SB WIN, is with BIG MIKE, at the helm…. ALSO, LOOK JIMMIE…You think that every teams goal should be a championship, or bust…. THAT'S FAN-BOY thinkin'….✌️🙏

  12. That is a rediculous take, Mike McCarthy hasn't coached a single game, after week 8 we can take a look at the culture, 2 players who arent in the lockerroom dont matter, its nonsense, things have changed in a major way, you'll see

  13. WHO THE HELL CARES WHAT MIKE TOMLIN THINKS ABOUT ANYTHING! MIKE TOMLIN SUCKS LOSS SEVEN STRAIGHT PLAYOFF GAMES AND TRAILED BY 20+ POINTS IN EACH LOSS. YEAH GREAT HEAD COACH .

  14. Let's review the last couple years of The Art Rooney/ Omar Kahn "Strategy"

Head Coach: An obese 64 year-old who'll be lucky to live to age 70, with losing seasons in 4 of his last 7 years.

QB Situation: A 42 year-old with zero mobility currently doing jungle drugs as we dramatically await his holy decision.

WR Situation: Release 24 year-old Pickens (1,429 yards), and get 29 year-old Metcalf suspended for fan violence.

RB Situation: Release Najee Harris after 4 straight 1K seasons, use #1 draft pick on absolute bust Kaleb Johnson.

LB Situation: Destroy salary cap space by paying 31 year-old TJ Watt a zillion dollars to go get 7 total sacks in 2025.

The Steelers are the "model of stability" in the sense that their model ensures "stable mediocrity" every season.

  15. How long is it gonna take for the Yinzer fanbase to figure out that Art II is the problem? As long as that guy's the owner of the team. The Pittsburgh Steelers are going NOWHERE!

  16. I predict the Steelers aren't gonna accomplish anything until the Mike Tomlin worship gets flushed out of the locker room. So many players, especially veterans, are so emotionally attached to Tomlin that I don't believe their hearts are into playing for another head coach. Remember when Watt said a couple years ago that he wouldn't want to play for another coach other than Tomlin? And the stories about how they broke down when he announced his resignation? They'll go though the motions on the field but they'll be mourning the loss of Tomlin. I mean, if they love him that's fine but if they don't buy into a new coach and system, it won't work.
