Laurence Holmes goes off on White Sox general manager Chris Getz for incompetent mistake
Matt Spiegel and Laurence Holmes reacted to White Sox general manager Chris Getz’s recent gaffe in thinking that newly acquired infielder Luisangel Acuna is a switch-hitter. Acuna only bats from the right side. The mistake had Holmes really fired up.

But he means well!

Oh Getz. Never should have sniffed the job.
he was never qualified, we all know that
Kind of hard to sell us on this being a TRADE vs. a SALARY DUMP when you don't know the most basic "baseball information" about the primary player you received in return.
The Sox just donβt Getz it
Maybe Getz received the wrong info for how Acuna hits. Maybe he thought Acuna could switch hit even though he technically hits right handed.
Is theScore selling 670 AM?
Can Eric Fedde switch-hit?
Relax man
maybe he meant he can't hit from either side of the plate
Iβm with Laurence on this one !
Sports is entertainment. Nothing to get mad over.
Do they have plans to develop him as a switch hitter then?
