Yeah he was for the first half of the season but didn’t see it in the second half or the playoffs.
I think Les tried to get ahead of his FA market because he started off hot and would have potentially got expensive. Unfortunately he fell off a cliff and was dreadful the back half of the season. The amount of times I saw him shoot the wrong gap in run defense was frustrating beyond belief.
In hindsight we extended him too early, but oh well I still like him as our ILB going forward, we just need someone with range next to him.

Yall say he fell off while he was still one of the team leaders in tackles week after week. Seems like people only think a defensive player has value if they are getting sacks or forcing fumbles.
I need to know specifically what happened between the FO/coaching staff and Ernest Jones.
Guy disappeared in the second half of the season right after getting that payday
