I find it funny how the Chiefs fans who spent all season demanding the Chiefs hire coaches from outside the organization are now whining that they did go outside the org but don’t like that specific coach. You people will never be happy.
Here’s an exercise we haven’t really discussed, how many players on this roster are completely safe from being traded this offseason? My best guess:
– Mahomes is untouchable
– The entire 2025 draft class
– The entire interior of the offensive line
– Worthy and Hicks purely because they are both talented and you’d be trading them at the lowest end of their value
– Probably Bolton because Spags loves him
– Karlaftis?
One interesting observation people have made since the RB coach hire: the former player Jeremiyah Love has been comped to is none other than Demarco Murray. Could be a sign of where the Chiefs are leaning in the draft.
