This was embarassing… Raptors get curbstomped by undermanned Pistons team

1. We lost this game when practice was cancelled. I am a fan of Darko, but this one is on him.

2. Pen sad basketball 🤣 its ok we got the next 2. Drake got to go, he's been here longer then any raptor most of the coaches, folding time.

3. 1)As we said before they need to double down on a strategy and that strategy should be defense. Shooters will cost too much and to do a balance of skill and physicality/defence you need the great decision making which we can’t do with our cap sheet and our FO
   2) We are getting to year 2/3 of recognising Scottie is not assertive. He’s a dog, but just maybe he’s not the dog to lead a team.

4. This team was not mentally ready for the game. Our two All Star Face-of-the-team Scottie Barnes and BI showed no leadership. We started the game like a bunch of WIMPS.

5. This team is so low IQ outside of Scottie. It’s crazy.

6. I’m a pistons fan I actually like yall team and told everyone yall would be top 6. Yall feel like us last year it’s hard to get out the mud trust us

8. Cade, Paul Reed & the entire Pistons team were pretty much laughing at our team & our “All-Stars” by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

   This was the perfect opportunity for Scottie to impose his will, especially with both Stewart & Duren not playing & he let many of us down. Lebron, Kawhi, Steph Giannis would shine in exactly this type of situation, after 5 years maybe its finally time to accept that maybe he just doesnt have it in him.

   I think its also Bobby's fault for not building a team thats optimized around Scottie.

   Why didn't Bobby do anything to improve the scoring & shooting on this team like at least picking up Cam Thomas or signing Ayo?

   30 games was enough sample size for everyone to see that we need more scoring & shooting.

9. Learning experience for the team I guess if they were so amped for BI they couldn’t practice.

   They needed to be all the way in it to win this game and there were moments where it felt like could hang, but it couldn’t be sustained. I felt that it all fell apart when they pressured some of the young guys in particular into mistakes.. you could feel how athletic and tenacious their whole team is.. didn’t help that Cade just decided to have an amazing game and be Steph from 3 somehow, which isn’t actually even his strong suit.

   I think with Jak and TJD more integrated and practiced with the team they will have a better chance. But it’s going to be very hard with this team..

   Scottie can’t both be guarding the rim and Cade really shows the dilemma this team faces. Maybe this is a game where you needed TJD to be integrated enough to be playing serious minutes effectively

10. Holy Molly Rob. You gotta stop freaking out about random comments. It really brings down the quality of your show for me

11. No Stewie, No Duren, but don't sleep on Paul Reed. Seen him put quality minutes in of the 76ers. Was not shocked about his buckets in this game. I know you think they're overachieving but I don't think they are quite like the Raptors. Young, yes but aren't lacking at the PG and C position.

12. It's one game. We have 2 more regular season with them. We will beat them with big stew and Duran in their lineup at their house.

13. I think he meant 2 years ago the Pistons were bad. Last year they won 44 games and made the playoffs.

14. Scottie is an all around better player than Cade however, Cade showed the ability to carry while missing key pieces tonight. The Raptors should have been motivated to win this game while the Pistons were undermanned. We'll have to learn from this experience but leadership was lacking which has always been my criticism of the Scottie, Darko led Raptors. Too bad Chris Paul will be waived, we could use that level of leadership even just for the rest of this season.

15. Why would anybody come to a Raptors video because the Pistons lost to Washington? You are not rational. Cade had better seasons than Scottie Barnes and had led his teams to better records but somehow Scottie Barnes is on his level? Now thats called being a true fan. Unreasonable and non objective. Not to mention Detroit has dominated the series between the Raptors the last 2 years.

16. I keep saying this the most underrated underrated skill in basketball is dribbling the ball if you cannot get to where you want to when you want to you're very limited because you always looking for somebody to put you in a better place to shoot the ball

18. Thought the same when I saw Beef and Duren are not playing, I wanted them play, I want FO to have real assessment of this team

Before Scottie got in foul trouble I was enjoying how he was guarding Cade (after Cade made that first 3) I thought Scottie was keeping Cade away from the ball and unfortunately no one could stop Reed who was hitting every shot. Cade cannot defend Scottie one on one. Raptors, as a 'team' aren't there yet. Hopefully the front office can get it together soon. Detroit has blossomed into a very good team. We aren't there… yet. Looking forward to the next meeting!

21. front office questions me. Why do we not have any bench scoring up grades? Shead, Jakobe, gradey went missing. How hard is it to get a bucket getter? naji marshal, cam thomas, anyone whos a vet. cant beat the knicks, celtics or pistons.
