  1. We really need someone from the ST staff from Seattle too. They have had a stellar year. We gotta nail that hire especially with how terrible we were this season.

  2. I could see there being a bit of professional courtesy where Kubiak doesn’t want to just go attempt to poach everyone, so he’s letting the seahawks interview their top candidates for his replacement first, and then might start to add some of those guys after seattle makes their choice.

I believe it was Macdonald that talked about how he believes that when it comes to Kubiak getting a job and maybe some of the staff following him, there can be a solution they can work on that is win/win.

  3. Jackson played in the NFL for 4 years (Cleveland) as a WR, but was a QB at Northern Illinois and WR at Western Illinois.

He coached wide receivers in college at 5 different schools before taking a passing game coordinator job at Temple in 2015 under Matt Rhule (won the ACC in 2016).

He jumped to the NFL in 2017 as WR coach for the Titans under Mularkey.

He went back to college for 2018-2019 at Baylor as WR coach and passing game coordinator.

He returned to the NFL in 2020 with Matt Rhule in Carolina as PGC. Robby Anderson, DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel saw some success (the team sucked).

He was WR coach for the Steelers in 2022-2023 before being hired for the same role by Mike Macdonald in Seattle.

Notable receivers in those stops include George Pickens and JSN.
