Interesting. I feel like Superbowl 49 was a better game to watch overall. Obviously the comeback was incredible, but by halftime the game felt like it was a blowout. Wasn’t really until the 4th quarter where it got exciting again. Superbowl 49 was watching two heavyweights go blow for blow right down to the last game.
I love how they threw a soccer game in there to appease the rest of the world. Just do the list for US sports an stand by it lol
Number #5…my gut…ROFL I kid I kid. That was a damned good one.
It doesn’t.
I feel like no game can beat Argentina vs France. It was such a beautiful soccer game. I’d put SB LI at 2.
probably because it was ON fox lol 49 was a much better game but was on NBC
It does not make me feel better. Id also take the 2011 Stanley Cup over most of this list.
I think 49 is overall the better game. Probably the greatest Super Bowl of all time.
The Pats/Panthers SB is criminally underrated. Should be somewhere in the top 10. Personally, that and SB49 are neck and neck for best Pats SB
I get it because of the epic comeback and everything, but Superbowl 49 eclipses it as an actual game. It might just be one of the best football games ever played. Two incredible teams at their absolute peak going head to head. Tom Brady with a great, almost underrated fourth quarter comeback against that defense, and then the Malcom Butler interception at the goal line.
2006 Rose Bowl was peak college football
Seattle New England gotta be up there
How is Game 7 of Red Sox vs Yankees In 2004 not on this?
I know Fox is an american broadcaster but jesus christ this is so US centric
I understand why it’s on there, but Super Bowl XLII was objectively not a very good football game.
Nah SB 49 is a superior game
I don’t need this to “feel better”. The Patriots just won 17 games and made the Super Bowl after winning 8 total games the two previous seasons combined. I feel just fine.
Super bowl 49 should 100% be on this list.
2016 nba finals was absolute cinema, if I weren’t a pats fan that would be #1 for me.
Super Bowl 51 wasn’t even a game. It was a master piece movie. Stellar performance, great cast, and director of the year Billy Belichick. Fuck the Hall of Fame btw.
Cardinals VS Steelers??? What in the hell is that doing on this list! Putting aside Patriot bias, Super Bowl 49 would be a more respectable choice there imo
The rose bowl in 2006 was crazy. I bought the highlights in iTunes because that’s how long ago that was
World cup game was infinitely more hype. Unbiasedly.
I guess since game 7 was a blowout it doesn’t get recognized here, but the entire 2004 ALCS ranks above all of these.
It’s weird they skipped from 4 to 6 but I guess it is Fox..
2016 World Series game 7 should be on this list
Obviously it’s America centric because Fox.
But the 2005 Champions League final between Liverpool and AC Milan has to feature on any list for best finals since 2000
Steelers cardinals? What in the goddamned hell are you talking about?
I’m still taking 2022 wc but that’s just me
Cubs Indians game 7 >>>>>> LA blue jays game 7
My opinion
Bigger football fan than soccer but that Argentina/France game deserves to be #1. Two powerhouses going back and forth and an extra time finish is insane
I’m tired of people pretending Super Bowl 42 was a good game. If the Patriots were 14-2 that game is no where near anyone’s top 10.
