  2. They will. They're gonna return with a vengeance. I think the Chiefs are gonna be balling again. For sure. People think I hate on the chiefs and Mahomes, but I don't. I give them flowers when they earn it, but I don't go overboard. I'll get on them if I have to as well. I'm objective about the chiefs

  6. Hell, with Patrick Mahomes the Chiefs weren't a good team this year. Sure, it wasn't all incumbent on him, but he had some games that he didn't really help the Chiefs cause in the game.

  8. Everybody is so tired of the Chiefs 🤣 they had one bad season in the last DECADE! With just a good offseason they’ll be right back in the mix. If you think the Bills, Ravens, or Bengals have a shot but it’s over for the Chiefs you’re just lying to yourself…

  9. Poor Nick must be in denial that Mahomes isn't THAT dude anymore. He's been regressing from being insanely great to now just decent past couple years. He's not going to be better after this injury

  10. It depends on the off-season. They have major roster holes in terms of talent, and they’re going to have to make some hard cuts to the roster to get under the cap. They have to really hit on at least the first 3 picks, and hope some of their picks from the last couple years start to step up in a way that they haven’t yet

  12. you shouldnt be confident, the AFC is getting better and its also just hard to keep winning in the position the Cheifs are in. Their skill position rooms arent good enough on both sides of the ball. Their oline is a big issue, their run game is a big issue. Their pass rush is ok at best. You cant just ride Mahomes to a SB, the Chiefs have a lot to fix about this team. I can trust the Chiefs in the post season over many teams, but in the regular season im taking the Texans, Chargers, Patriots, Broncos, Jags just because of the talent gap on the overall roster.

  13. See the season that Nick is taking about the Patriots missed the playoffs what he failed to mention was that team was 11-5 that year that’s not the case for the Chiefs they were a bad team with Mahomes just as much as they were without him

  14. Can’t be afraid of a team you just swept (and beat into submission) while using 3rd team O-line and practice squad RBs. The Chargers own the Chiefs now and going forward.

  17. The Chiefs with Mahomes were not a good team this year lol. His play level has been declining for awhile now.

    Nick is almost certain Drake Maye won’t be back to the Super Bowl, I think he should be really worried that the Chiefs might never make it back.

    They have a lot of work to do even if Mahomes is their starter this fall in order to get back to even the playoffs.

  18. Greg and nick are both right in my opinion. The Chiefs are ranked too high but with what I saw in this year’s playoffs I wouldn’t be surprised if I was told this time next year the chiefs are representing the AFC in the superbowl

  22. There is no logical reason for Nick to think this. KC is basically undergoing a rebuild. And the new elements may or may not work. They may or may not come back strong. But even if they do, there are a lot of good AFC teams now
