Bang
Too bad about Bassitt but I hope they get Mad Max
There are better options than Max. Toronto needs someone they can count on for most of the season not 10-15 starts
One injury away being .500 team.
Gallen. But as Ross says, any addition would require a subtraction
I love that in Baseball, a team can beat a guy in arbitration and then say "I know we're paying you less than you want; but we intend to use you more than you think. You'll love it. "
How many people would let that happen to them at work? Lol
Eric Lauer didn't win arbitration, he lost
We're fine as is.
Keep the powder dry for a big trade come the deadline.
I would love to see mister walker working with gallon
Blue Jays are back to losing out on all the pitchers again. The one guy I don't want them to get is Scherzer.
Let's not forget, we started last season with Alan Roden and Will Wagner as starters, as well as Richard Lovelady and Jacob Barnes in the bullpen. We still ended up winning the AL pennant. For all of the doomsayers, we're in a much better position going into this season than we were last year. Yes, bring on Max Scherzer; perhaps in May or June. If the Tigers can sign Justin Verlander, we can sign Max Scherzer. Juan Yepez and/or Eloy Jimenez could be pleasant surprises if and when they're called up, but I'd rather see more of Joey Loperfido, Jonatan Clase, and maybe for the first time, RJ Schreck. By the way, I like the look of the threesome of Gausman, Cease, and Ponce, at least as far as the long hair and beards go!
SCHERZER! SCHERZER! SCHERZER! π€π€π€
Need a lefty
Clase is a dream that he can become the speed element we lack, but he does not walk or make contact.
Shoukd have kept Bassitt
Sign Zac Gallen proven record and especially against Seattle . Love Scherzer β€
What about trading for Fernando Tatis Jr? We have a void to fill now with Santander gone as it was hoped a rebound from him would offset the loss of a bat from Bo being gone. All depends who we give up of course.
Like I said yesterday morning.. Bassit is going to Baltimore go for Mad Max .. maybe trade for Nick from Philly if cheap for back up DH and platoon outfielder
Teiderman!!!!!
I like Scherzer just for his interesting character, he is entertaining to have around and isn't that also what sports are about? Then we have the high pitch , submarine pitch dynamic between Savage and Rogers. Fun year for pitching
who cares…
The Jays just robbed the MLB. ππππππππππ
Minutes ago they were worried about having 6 starters. Well problem is solved
problem with scherzer is the age and the amount of games he would be able to play, other then the exp i dont see him as the right fit. Gallen would be best but he might not be signed yet cause of the pick attached to him.
How much patience does one need to put up with " I never stop yakking " Scherzer.
