  1. I wouldn’t at that price. Wally is worth keeping. Two solid goalies goes a long way during the long season and in the playoffs. I want Thomas but I would keep the offers pretty much to prospects and picks. Stramel will probably be a great player but the team is built to win now and Thomas isn’t an older guy, he’s in his prime and under contract for awhile. Knowing what we would get in Thomas makes it worth trading him imo.

  2. The Blues asking price is extremely high for Thomas and rightfully so. A great two-way first line center in the prime of his career. He's locked up for the next for years and I'd say he has a team friendly contract given the value that he provides and the cap continuing to go up. Wally, Stramel, and a first probably still isn't enough to meet their asking price for Thomas.

  3. Why play with fire? Having a star goalie can literally steal you games you had no business winning, and I'd argue is the most important position in the playoffs. What are we even doing here? We're lucky he even fell to us in the first place
