  1. I don't think you'll see Brittlebar on the field till May or June? Shaving a bone is not a small deal. But, that should give some of these kids in the minors a real shot? I'd really like to see Nathan Church get a true shot?

  2. I think Burleson deserves to get his chance at first. If Herrera can't catch and Gorman doesn't have to be DH to give him his last chance as a hitter. Herrera could be stuck in left field until Nootbar comes back and perhaps beyond. Im glad when our players can't play in the WBC. It's time to concentrate on Cardinals. I still like the unpopular 1 year for next to nothing for Castellanos.

  3. I now expect Bloom to go after Nick Castellanos, with Nootbaar questionable. The Phillies released Castellanos and are paying off his contract 100%. Bloom can sign him to a league-minimum contract for 2026, we know that's something that will make Bloom salivate when he hears about it.
But JD, there is no place on Detroit's roster for Castellanos, the corner outfield and DH rolls there are 100% filled. Baltimore might take a look, though. Tyler O'Neill is always hurt.
