  1. Roll landed right on that AC joint man I feel so bad for the kid gave it everything he had and we still have fans still have fans talking shit about him

  2. I hope “you wanna finish” meant letting him shake it off and getting up when he wants and not, like, finish the game. 😬

  3. Great support from Vrabel. Maye is tough. These close up shots really show how physical the game is at this level.

  4. So frustrating to think what could have been if Maye just slides earlier in the AFCCG. Hopefully this painful lesson sticks in the back of his head every time he scrambles from here on out. No first down, no drive, no game is worth losing the SB over. He had to learn the hard way to be smarter about sliding.

  5. Why was Vrabel spending the entire game trying to cajole his team about their body language – from the first snap to the last

  6. Drake falling from media darling to the target of everyone’s shit football takes is the truest sign he’s made it in this league. We are so set with him as long as we don’t get complacent

  7. I think Maye will be a fine quarterback but these posts border on participation trophy territory. He should be proud to have made the Super Bowl, but that game was a disaster for him.

  8. Ya know, wasn’t a fan of him in Tennessee, but the more interviews and sound bites I experience of Vrabel in New England, the more I like and respect him. Reminds of Dan Campbell

  9. Looking forward to his MVP campaign followed by a Superbowl victory. Can’t believe that people are looking for any opportunity to call a 23 year-old, 2nd year QB a fraud because he was having difficulty against the *top defenses in the NFL*.

  10. > You wanna finish

God damn, i just realised we could have seen a backup QB in a SB because we were getting blown out.

  11. I love the unscripted moments. When Drake is being interviewed, he has his media face on and it’s tough to tell who he is. When the coaches talk to him during the game, we get the real Drake. TBH he seems like the kid he is which is kind of endearing.

  12. Where was the coaching adjustments? RB and TE chip blocks, screens, etc? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I was extremely surprised and disappointed to see Vrabel and McDaniel like that.

  13. The most positive energy that pats had was their head coaches belief in them. Well done coach V.

  14. The hit he took at the end is why the average career is like 2-3 years. That’s just brutal

  15. Love Vrabel man. Hard to argue against coach of the year for even the hatiest of pats haters.

  16. I mean, did he? He kinda played like garbage all playoffs. I get he’s still young, but based on the way he played this year, I expected more. If they’re gonna go all the way and finish the job, he needs to be better. The “deer in the headlights” look he had in pregame was a bad sign.

  17. This is a young team. He’s a super young QB. This Super Bowl run was not suppose happen. Vrabel isn’t gonna let this team fall into middle of the pack. We’ll be back better next year and better !!

  18. I really do wonder just how bad the shoulder was, he looked off even when he had open looks. Tough loss, but he will be back better than ever

  19. Drake Maye was seriously injured going into the game, and it showed during the game.  Notice he didn’t attempt to run the ball when under pressure,  and the offensive game plan excluded any planned QB runs.

I think one of the ways that might helped the Pats to be competitive against Seattle’s great defense would have been a good dose of designed QB runs.  Didn’t see it.

Guy was hurting before he took one hit, and he took too many once the game started.  He got mugged.

  20. Vrabel is a true leader. I’m so happy to see him back in New England in the role he was made for. It was a tough loss, but we have the right CO in command and we will be fine.

  21. Patriots better do everything they can to protect Drake from here on out if they want him to have a long career

  22. I have full faith in Maye’s ability to take us there in the future. He’s got everything we need. My only hope is that this end to his season doesn’t get in his head. That he recognizes the situation for what it was and more importantly focuses more on the fact that he made it this far with the pieces that he had.
