  4. Hawks fan here. LOB still gets the nod from me and I've seen every game from both teams. McDonald makes them better. The LOB with McDonald would be crazy good

  9. I love the Seahawks but stop tripping have you heard of 2000 ravens are the greatest defense of all time then the bears but Seahawks are close but nowhere near the 2000 ravens

  11. They couldn't stop the Rams offense in the nfccg. If the Seahawks didn't have Sam Darnold, it would've been the Rams instead of the Seahawks in the Superbowl.

  12. In 2013 we had a corner who would intercept the ball. Richard Sherman started out as a receiver and as such, saw the pass as something to catch – not bat away. Like Dion Sanders said "When that ball was in the air that was his ball." It's a different psychology – a different way of playing pass defense. If there is a difference in the two squads – I think that's it. Also – it's nice when Darnold isn't having a great game – to be able to relax into a game manager position and take the opportunities but only when they were there – knowing that the D would make that possible. Remember the last undefeated team – the 1972 Miami Dolphins, had a game manager QB in Bob Greasy. Worked out just fine in 72 and 73.

  14. Statistically in the superbowl era. The best defense in the regular season was the 77 falcons. 9.2 pts per game and a crazy 1300 yards allowed through the air. Went 7-7.

  17. I think the best Super Bowl defense I've seen was the 1985 Bears, then probably the Ravens in 2000, then I would consider the Seahawks of 2026 and 2013 tied. I would even consider the 2024 Eagles defense, considering they were playing against the high powered Chiefs.

  18. I think what makes this team so scary, is the age, theyre young with a ton of room to grow smarter, this team isnt the final shot at the big one its the "rebuilding phase" team just getting started. Theyll mature and terrify for years.

  22. This defense is hard to read . Especially for inexperienced qb's. It goes to show the level of intelligence they have as a group and the communication that's self evident. Under-estimation of their potential should continue to b enefit them as they turn it up a notch or just raise the bar exponentially. I don't think today's comparisons are relevant to what this defense might become. Visualize unheard of domination, Trust in destruction of opposing offenses. Believe in Blowing the league up in historical undefeated seasons of triple trifectas back to back to back erasing all conversations and all possible debate with overwhelming generational greatness that not a soul will ever be able to deny for all eternity! Amen!

    Every year, football takes one step forwards being like basketball and soccer and I absolutely hate it, can't watch those two sports because the players are certified, A1 b****es, I have zero respect for a man who flops

    NFL used to be a simple agreement, you get PAID and you get HIT HARD for my entertainment, SIMPLE

    The LOB hit SO HARD they got called for penalties that were clearly and obviously not penalties

  25. Look, I will never try to take from the Legion. I will just say personally, I feel our team this year, top to bottom WAS better! Why? Well, let me say this! We lost 3 GAMES all season, for a total of 9 points! Also, we ended the season with 14 wins! A seahawks record!
