Joe, thanks for doing the show indoors and not inflicting an outdoor mic on us.
Herrera saying he wants to prove he can be a catcher then going to the WBC feels a lot like Yadi saying "I want to manage" but not showing up for work.The insurance thing allows everyone to walk away with no regrets about making the wrong decision. (Or for Chaim to not have to be the bad guy in his 1st year.)
The Cards need Ivan to either be a good catcher or find out ASAP that he's not one. Do they want to push that back so he can take an L for his country? He surely does, but do the Cards?
