Based on the signatures I can make out this would appear to date from the late 70s if legit. Can anyone provide further insight?

This was definitely a giveaway item. I have a few like this.
Okay so. Gord lane. Bob sirous. Paul mulvey. Oh theres more
Photos. Then what i looked at. But this appears to be the 78-79 roster and yes free giveaway or season tix holder and a great find. Congrats!
Those signatures are in too good condition to be legit signatures.
The team gave these as giveaways for several seasons they are unfortunately facsimile signatures but still cool
It’s one of those printed give away sticks, we have a ton from 30 years of season ticket holders.
Well. F* me. It could be facsimile.
A vintage Washington Capitals souvenir hockey stick from the 1978-1979 season features facsimile (machine-printed) signatures from the team roster.
Key Details of the 1978-79 Stick:
Sponsor: Eastern Airlines (“The Wings of Man”).
But based on pictures that one has ink bleed and others ive see. Do not
So they’re “machine” signed using an autopen with actual marker which is why the bleed is present. So i stand corrected, though i knew it was ink!
