Most impressive rookie season since Lebron. Yes, even more-so than Luka and Wemby. When Wemby was Coop’s age, he was busy statpadding in the local French league so that he could duck Euroleague competition. Luka won Euroleague MVP at 19, but Coop was busy dropping 50-bombs at the same age. Coop will be the same age in the middle of the off-season as Luka was in his rookie debut.

I am so impressed with Coop i still can’t quite believe it. It all seems so surreal to me. I’ve been a Mavs fan since Luka was a rookie but i live in Maine. I’ve flown to Dallas twice to watch the Luka era Mavs play. It’s just so crazy because i grew up about 20 mins from where Cooper did. I went to high school with a few of his older cousins. We’re out here in the middle of no where you know and i’ve followed his rise since high school. And then with the Luka trade and Cooper getting drafted #1 to the same team i’m rooting for… it’s all just been wild. I almost have to pinch myself to believe it’s real
Same stats as rookie Tyreke Evans as well. Coop looks incredible but people get carried away with this stuff
Cooper needs to get a bit bigger and shore up his 3pter. Than his ceiling is high af.

dude put rookie year Lebron in this era of the NBA and he’s averaging 25/8/8 on 50% shooting.
Cooper is gonna be a superstar but Lebron would look like a demigod.
