5. I like Maxx and I’m not sure I’d say he’s a diva, but I think that he’s a great player that knows how great he is and as a result has a bit of an ego. He seems to react to things he doesn’t like with passive aggression, and that’s understandable in some cases. The fact is, he’s young, passionate, and it’s easy to understand his perspective even if one doesn’t agree with it. I don’t think he should have played those last couple games, but I understand why he wanted to. I remember a year or two ago he had an interview with Howie Long, who advised him that it’s ok to sit some plays out when it isn’t necessary to be in. That you don’t want to ruin your career or shorten it over something stupid that didn’t matter, and the older you get, the harder it is to bounce back. Maxx had that kinda “ok boomer” expression and just politely nodded, but you could tell he wasn’t interested in that particular advice. I remember thinking then, he was going to run into issues at some point.

8. He played the whole season on that bum knee and we won 2 friggin games. Maxx needs to get over it, he got surgery immediately. He obviously was INJURED

12. Another aspect nobody seems to mention. There becomes a point in your career when you're on the other side of that hill. Right now he can chose to play for a contender. Once you get on the other side , you gotta take what you get. If he wants a ring hes running out of time.

13. I think Maxx went to Mark Davis and they unilaterally agreed it’s time to move on as it would be best for both parties. He’s playing a role right now to increase his value. Teams don’t want a disgruntled player as much as it lowers the value of the player.

17. Raiders won 3 games total with Crosby, even if Mendoza is amazing and Kubiak is a genius they're not going to the SB in several years at least. Broncos, Chargers and Chiefs rosters, O-lines, defenses and coaches are far far better trading 29 y/o Crosby rn for 2 1st round picks would be the best for both parties

18. I don’t get it. The dude was playing with like a torn meniscus. With 2 games left and no chance playoffs, why wouldn’t he shut it down. Competitors live to fight another day not die on their shield and ruin their career

19. Let's not forget that one of those coaches was forced on the Raiders when Crosby and that trash Davante Adams decided they knew best and demanded Antonio Pierce be hired. Both demanded trades if it didn't happen. So Maxx's hands aren't clean of these extremely poor decisions.

20. No, they should trade him. Their future is on the offensive side of the ball w/Bowers, Mendoza, and Jeanty, etc., and they hired an offensive-minded coach for this very reason. It's a total rebuild from the ground-up. This is his prime: trade him for assets, offload the books, and restructure the entire team.

21. Put an offense on the field that plays for more than 15 minutes and puts points on the board and Maxx will be happy.

28. So tired of hearing how these guys that make millions of dollars per year to play a game are angry and want out. Maxx is a competitor. I can understand he was pissed off about the shutdown. But the Raiders aren't obligated to trade him.
