They fit so well with that Luka led team. Fuck Nico man…
One of the most satisfying games I ever saw. Good times!
Fuck Nico, forever. Sell the team!
Luka smiling because he finally got some proper help.
There’s so many things to be said about ‘the trade’.
What I miss about most about Luka is the elite passing. It’s such a pleasure to watch. And, as we’ve seen this year, some guys game are fine without an elite passer, and other guys struggle to produce when they aren’t ‘spoon-fed’ the easy bucket.
There’s just something special about the Luka Mavs that is hard to explain. He plays as if he’s a QB, maybe that’s why I loved watching him play. Idk, I really miss those times.
And now those 2 are rendered completely useless on this new team and we’ll have to sell low on them when you literally could not find a more perfect fit between them and Luka. *sighhhhhh*
PJ and Gaff feed off energy plays. So camping out in the corner or plodding for a highly contested jump hook doesn’t do them well. We had the ultimate playmaker raising all ships and fucking Nico sent him away for garbage and an inconsistent Max. If not for lucking out on Coop, this franchise would have been doomed for decades
Right around every Mavs-Lakers matchup, you can always count on this OP to farm karma from the rubes in this sub.
god, did all of that to build the perfect team around luka lol i’m in a glass case of emotion
I was at this game and it was glorious
Your heart won’t heal right if you keep picking at the sutures.
As a wolves fan I hated how scary this lob city setup was looking and wondering how we were ever gonna beat it.
….sorry bros..
It’s crazy to me that Luka knew the oop would be there while PJ is still outside the 3 pt line and Luka is at the logo.
I get it’s a designed play but his vision and IQ are up there with Jokic as the greatest of all time.
okc fan here. was at that game and got my intro to mj washington
man, we really had everything didn’t we
I hate to say it but they don’t fit our timeline anymore. With Luka gone, and us rebuilding around Cooper, it’ll only be a matter of time before they both either move a separate direction or they get traded by the org. Either way, the connection they had with Luka and Kyrie was so goated for the short period of time that it existed.
Nico what the hell man
We had OKC number with this squad. FUCK NICO!!!
We were literally OKC’s toughest matchup. I still believe last year whole heartedly once Luka got healthy coming back from injury we would have had a serious chance to go back to the finals and win it all if they didn’t trade him..
seems like 10 years ago
Man I miss Luka on a Mavs jersey.
Was at this game.
The audio doesnt do justice for how on fire the crowd was. There was a persistent buzz during the game and then peaks when this stuff would happen.
Felt like a playoff game.
I was at this game! The arena was buzzing. First game together and the result was a dominant performance… so much potential.
goodness i miss those smooth pinpoint passes
Thank you Dennis Lindsey at that time.
I was there! It was my kids first Mavs game. It was awesome.
Nah I’m not cryin. You cryin!

That was such a fun squad
That was a fun game to be at for sure – sigh
Crowd was LOUD for this game. It was so hype.
