  1. $100k? Wow. Teams make that from a single corporate sponsor advertising their product around the arena. If it can be proven a team is deliberately tanking, simply take away their spot in the lottery and push them to the end of the first-round. Imagine finishing the season 25-57 and still picking 30th in the draft.

  2. What about what the Lakers just did with sitting entire roster against the Spurs!!!just for that 1 game????? They played game before and the game after!!!!! What about the fans that paid for a ticket a hotel , then they decide to all not play is just as bad

  3. Mr. Adam Silver, the Commissioner is ignoring the real problem.
He understands how to use people like robots to make money.
He is not really listening to the players, the teams, or the coaches.
This tanking has been going on for years with no penalty.
I watch the games every night and I check who are playing.
There are about 8 teams tanking right now.
    WHY PENALIZED 2 TEAMS?
    They are billionaires.
What would that fine do to their business? Nothing πŸ‘Ž .
How will that fix the problem? It will not.
ESPN has these guys sounding like fools on television.
    The league created this problem.
Now they chose 2 teams to penalize for the domino effect that was caused by the rules put in by the league themselves πŸ™„
    Utah Jazz was the scapegoat.
Then they threw in Indiana Pacers.
This week, Lakers did not play their starting 5.
    They were not fined.
The Warriors sat down their starting 5.
    They were not fined.
And the list goes on, and on.
Why choose these 2 specific teams?
They did not break any rules!!

  4. How about changing the all star game back to the original format. Not adding points to another score too confusing it’s simple but doing too much you have to explain it every year.
