Yeah, I don’t think that’s going to be a problem.
Somebody is going to have to be the RHH RF in the platoon for the league minimum, whether it’s Castellanos, Fairchild, or Rodriguez.
What a gross sentence that is with Spring Training getting started.
Sign him. Fuck it. Who cares. He can bat .220 like 7 of 9 hitters in this lineup and it wouldn’t matter
The Castellanos for Manzardo, DeLauter, and Genao trade proposal article from earlier this offseason will still be on my mind as I lay on my deathbed.
This guy has never been an issue. He had one blow up and owned it. I’ll take him at $780k.
Yeah right he’d be great here
I mean the depressing news cycles going on he might break Bonds single season HR record. I’d argue its worth it
Yeah, God forbid we take a league minimum flyer on a guy who.might be a league average bat. That would be terrible.
Glad to have our yearly Castellanos talk. See you in no offense November.

My fondest wish-fulfillment theory is that the Guardians have a right-handed slugger from single-A that we’ve barely heard of that they are somehow sure is going to leap all the way to the majors this year and wreak havoc. That’s why they’re so sanguine about standing pat. Don’t destroy my dream.
Castellanos is hot, I’d enjoy watching him 👀…but he’d have to mesh with our merry band of scrappy team players. His ego is probably too big for Guardians britches. Not a huge risk though if he understands what he’d be used for (righthand bat).
