My goodness we’ve come a long ways

  1. Look man, the T-Wolves have had a lot of bum players and teams, but I won’t let this Mike Miller slander stand. He wasn’t an all-star, but for a time he was one of the biggest 3-pt threats in the league and was a 6th man of the year before signing with MN. There are plenty of worse players from that era to rag on than Miller.

  2. There was a point in time where nearly our entire team was filled strictly with Caucasian players.

  3. I remember attending a game around 2008 with my brother where I believe Sebastian Telfair was in the starting lineup, Corey Brewer doinked an uncontested transition dunk and got booed by the crowd, and after the game crunch through a mini basketball into the sparsely attended crowd and I caught it! I was super pumped to see it was autographed by an up and coming prospect #5 Craig Smith. This was a great night, all for probably $20 beer included. Even the terrible times were kind of fun in weird way.

  4. Alright, let’s not disrespect Mike Miller lol. I was stoked for that trade. Probably the GOAT trade before Conley/NAW for Dlo

  5. Someone created these jerseys. Someone reviewed them. Hands were shaken and these were approved over our old ones. Literally criminally

  6. Nobody in here must be old enough to remember (but please chime in if you do)- this thread totally unlocked this memory:
At the Music section of the store (Target), there were literally hundreds of free Timberwolves ticket vouchers, like wide bookmark sized. Free for the taking. All you had to do was go to the box office on game day. No takers, ever. Those things were always full, and judging by the attendance (in the rare occasions they’d actually be on tv), not a popular promotion. Of course the handful of games that sold tickets because of the opponent were not eligible (Bulls, Magic, Blazers, Rockets, SuperSonics, etc.).
