RISK: Jacksonville Jaguars’ Moving on From Arik Armstead & Devin Lloyd Could Riskier Than Some Think

Jacksonville Jaguars face tough decisions as fan favorites like Arik Armstead, Devin Lloyd and Travis Etienne weigh their futures. Is the franchise risking its team chemistry for salary cap flexibility? Tony Wiggins questions conventional wisdom on roster moves and highlights how letting go of key contributors could affect the Jaguars’ run defense and offensive firepower.

Arik Armstead’s value comes under scrutiny after mixed performances, while Ezra Cleveland and Monteric “Buster” Brown linger in uncertainty as the front office contemplates upgrades. From positional value debates to the impact of homegrown talent, Tony Wiggins explores whether the Jaguars have been wrong about who stays and who goes. Will Jacksonville’s bold strategy pay off, or could moving on from proven leaders backfire in their quest for NFL dominance?

  1. Tuten isn't ready for the full load just yet, he took some big shots last year and wasn't the same reminds me of Corey Grant a great change of pace back

  2. All I know is those so called number one players who were really great number 2 players they traded performed the same on other teams couldn’t get those teams over the hump when they finally played somebody good look at the patriots when they played a good team k-Lavon chassion Calais Campbell Gabe Davis etc, this administration knows you need that guy so I trust them.

  3. If Armstead is back, then I don’t want to hear anything about him not practicing in the offseason. Fans were told that Armstead didn’t need to practice in the offseason bc they wanted to preserve him for postseason play. Well, the post-season came and went, and the last time you saw him, he was being carried into the end zone by the Bills' offensive line. That’s not going to fly this offseason. Trade him and get a second round pick for him.

  4. Armstead didn't do enough to keep the guy around. Always been hurt since he got here. When he has played he made little impact. We need to upgrade the position of 3T hopefully with youth in the draft but FA would work to if someone of an upgrade presents themselves.
