We are close to the kick off of Spring Training, and to get pumped, I have been looking back at some of the best plays of 2025.
There are so many, but my favorites are in order to the best:
TJ Friedl’s Game-Saving walk-off catch against the Brewers
Noelvi Marte’s Season-Saving Catch. Note, Marte had all three outs in that final inning!
What am I missing? What are your guys' favorites?

To add, one of my favorite things about baseball is listening to the opposition’s broadcast, and hearing them get so excited for a great play, even if it is against their squad. Baseball is a special sport for that reason. Go Reds
Man, Friedl makes such big plays and it’s crazy to think all that is coming from a man that’s my height. A 5’8 guy making robberies like that is just unreal.
I miss Fraley and wish him the best.
Super stoked on Marte in right!
only been to three Reds games in my life.
one was splurging on a ticket lower level near first base. saw the Friedl rob against the Brewers.
got to put that on the top of my list.
One of my favorites was a pretty mundane Monday game at the end of April. (4/28/25 at home against the Cardinals.)
Masynn Winn bunts the ball with 2 on, no outs. Trevino scoops the ball up and fires a laser to 3rd to get the out. Seeing that live killed the Cardinals rally. 6:30 if you’re interested. https://youtu.be/3K3i02qKLKs?si=AR-6DsRx-fesyQFF
Also, Santillan securing the sweep over the Cubs was one of the most tense moments I’ve ever watched. Exhilarating though.
