  1. If he was elite he would have still been coaching in the NFL, not the Gamecocks. Just because someone WAS elite, doesn't mean they still are. Look at Pete. I'm not really against the hire. Yet. But you shouldn't put so much hype on him. We might need next years caching cycle to get some real coaches since we got so late a start this year. Hopefully we are showing progress by the end of the season so it will be a more desirable landing spot.

  2. Idk, you guys keep throwing out that this guy is from this tree and that guy is from that tree. So if doesn't work out what will you be using for an explanation as to why a certain hire is good?

  3. Amazing hire, so far loving the staff being put together. As a die hard Raiders fan, for the first time in a long time I'm cautiously optimistic. 100% agree with you, might have to have you as a guest on my pod to talk Raiders. I love and keep up the good work Wasted

  4. Thank you for such a a thorough history of our new Special Teams coach, great get! Trying not to drink the kool aid but I’m feeling really good about our direction!

  5. This is perfect, I bet this was a huge bonus when they interviewed Kubiak, already wanted him more than anyone, and then he says we bring in Joe….man..A++++

  6. I’d say special teams are vastly underrated. If we see a big improvement in special teams it will translate to offense and defense alike.
    Confidence building. Cultural shift.

  7. I was surprised by the number of Raiders fans who were dismissive of this hire and were like “whoop te do” about this when the Raiders literally lost 4-5 games because of Special Teams, LOL
I guess they don’t understand “you need all 3 phases to win” means.
