Work a trade that sends McCarthy to the 9ers. Condition of the trade though is we get McCarthy back in 2 years after Shannahan has turned him into a QB.
Too much for Mac Jones. Rodgers one season. No picks, no trades. This would give the kid one more season to learn and grow
I'll stick with JJ, and keep the draft picks, we all the help we can get.
My arm chair QB opinion is heck no. Doing trades likes this only keeps us in being a mediocre level. We have too many holes to start giving up draft capital. Especially when Mac Jones and Mayfield will be UFA's in 2027 on top of a better QB draft class. Wouldn't be a good return on investment. If going to use draft capital use it in 2027 to move up for a QB. Meanwhile this year shore up the offensive line, a running back for balance and keep building up that defense until it's considered a top 3 defense.
I would trade for Derek Carr
