  1. I will always be in favor of bringing dudes who were raised in or near Houston back to the H!

  2. Why? With Nico, Tank, Higgins and Noel we should be fine. We also have Hutch.

We need to protect our qb and get a run game. That’s where we need to put our money and maybe draft picks. Get a stud at IOL, draft another one high, draft a HB high. We should be happy to live with good enough at other areas – The o-line and run game will dictate how far we go next year

  3. Last year I would have been way more excited about Mike Evans, but now with Jayden Higgins emerging as a big framed WR compliment to Nico I’m not really sure why we’d bring him in. He’s going to cost at least $15m a year and more WR needy teams will spend into the $20s

With Tank returning WR is the offensive position I’m least concerned with. Think we roll with Nico, Higgins, Tank, Noel and sign a couple of cheaper vets to compete for the other spots. Maybe use a mid-round pick on another rookie as well

I’d like to see us trade Xavier Hutchison for a 6th~ round pick and maybe bring Kirk back if he’s open to a 1yr deal near the vet minimum

Xavier’s been a solid contributor, but I’d rather see Tank/Noel get the slot reps and think it would be mutually beneficial for X to join another team where he can compete for the 3rd WR spot

Overall I’d rather us use the money on G/C, DT or a running back. We also gotta give bag to WAJ and potentially CJ if he’s open to a team friendly extension. Kamari and Bullock are next in 2027

  4. if we’re investing in anything on the offense outside of the line and a RB I’d want it to be TE. Having a vet presence in the WR is nice but I don’t think Evans will be worth the price tag he’ll demand

  5. If Caserio blows cap space on a WR and bargain bin shops IOL AGAIN, then he needs to lose his job.

  6. Would be genuinely shocked if he actually leaves the Bucs, and call me skeptic, but don’t think “nfl rumours” counts as a legitimate source lol. Either way an expensive 1 year deal for a 33 year old, albeit, HOF wr should absolutely not be in the cards for this team. They’ll add a vet to the mix to compete for real snaps, but it’ll be more in the mold of a cheaper younger option. FA focus has to be finding 1-2 legitimate O-line starters depending on if they re-sign Ingram, RB and S imo. DT depth spending on how many they re-sign between Rankins, settle, Fatu and if they cut Mario Edwards, LB depth depending on if they re-sign Speed, depth CB and edge depending on if they re-sign Derek Barnett are secondary priorities.

  7. I think this tweet is engagement bait tbh. We have other needs at other positions that have priority over WR.

  8. If they bring in anything besides O-line and RB’s I’m gonna scream. We do not need receiving core. We need blockers and somebody to carry the fucking football more than 50 yards a game.

  9. Evans will cost too much, but a lot our fans are putting way too much faith in Tank.

Everything we saw he had may not be capable anymore. He’s coming back, but he’s coming back as a question mark that had potential.

Once we get rid of Kirk, Collins and Hutch are the only real established wideouts we have. Banking on Higgins and Noel as sure quality pieces is risky. Basically, we are going into next season with Nico and a dream. When he inevitably misses a few games, there’s nothing wrong with wanting more than a previously horrifically injured wideout, Hutch, and two sophmore receivers.

It doesn’t matter because I don’t see Caserio spending big on a wideout. If and it’s a big if, he spends on anyone other than depth pieces it’ll be us getting lucky and getting a IOL ( if one is available ) or a younger, established rb.

  10. Realistically what IOL are actually going to hit FA. I imagine the ravens are going to retain linderbaum. If the quality o line guys get retained I don’t mind bringing him in on something around what kupp got and throw in some incentives and Milk the home town angle

  11. I don’t actually believe this and think it’s just speculation bc he grew up close by, we’re not gonna pay 15-20 mil for a WR given our needs. I know our WR won’t be special but I kind of think given they want to actually run the ball well (not just be average but he great at it) that they know they have to overhaul the ground game, and whether we like it or not, it’s probably trusting young dudes at WR next season. That being said they want to run more heavy formations so I would expect a TE2 as part of the plan, maybe in the draft though. We badly need TE depth.
