CHARGERS SQUAD: Will Tyreek Hill be a Charger?

Los Angeles Chargers fans debate a potential Tyreek Hill acquisition—could the Miami Dolphins superstar transform Justin Herbert’s offense or disrupt team chemistry? The conversation explores Hill’s impact as a “game breaker,” his familiarity with Mike McDaniel’s system, and whether adding another receiver is the right move for the Chargers’ roster. Is a one-year, cap-friendly deal worth the risk, or should the team focus on developing young talents like Ladd McConkie, Quentin Johnston, and Trey Harris?

Hosts Pete Fox, Kenjon Barner, and Jim Daniels analyze offseason priorities, with offensive line upgrades and defensive improvements topping the wishlist. The episode covers player workouts, locker room leadership, and the looming threat of Hill joining AFC West rivals like the Chiefs or Raiders. Insightful banter and fan reactions highlight the heated debate around veteran signings, positional needs, and the path to a Chargers championship. Will the front office make the right moves before the new season kicks off?

  1. As far as Hill goes… NOT ONLY NO, BUT HELL NO!! I don't care how fast he was/ is. STILL NO!! He's had way too much BAD off field stuff that's gone on, PLUS he's a FRICKN DIVA. ME ME ME GUY!! I'd rather us go 1-16 than have him on our team!! Nothing but locker room cancer!! ANYONE who's got anything to do with a DV case, not matter if he was found not guilty, didn't charged plus has a run in with Law Enforcement. He can go somewhere else!!

  2. If its a decent deal i say bring hill in. Make it so in his contract we can cut him the following year if it doesnt work out. He will be great for our offensive. Will make life easier for the others

  3. We don’t have enough money to sign a player like Tyreek Hill without causing serious talent gaps on the offensive and defensive line. Wide receiver is one of the least important positions on a football team. There are tons of good receivers available.

  4. The money would be better spent on building a wall for our star QB. If Herbert isn't protected, he WILL get hurt, then what? I believe Hill is done, his injuries and legal problems will come with him no matter where he goes. We have receivers that are more than capable. Oweh needs to stay, use the money on him. No on Hill
