  4. Pete deboer is available and I feel Coffey could work with him. Time to move on from this clown. 2 week break to prepare these guys and improve our systems and we get this bullshit game.

  8. Yeah that was a rancid game from Jary no way around it. He actually made a few solid saves after the rancid first goal but man other then the 2nd goal the rest of the goals where ugly. But man that 6th was really bad that’s three veterans making big mistakes nurse fumbles the puck away then walman and DRI cover the same man in front of the net. That just simply can’t happen. The team is damn lucky that the div sucks otherwise they’d be missing the playoffs without a doubt this year. The personnel simply isn’t good enough this year. I listened to oilers podcasters say they need a top 9 scoring fwd and depth but that’s dumb they need a top 4 Dman immediately walman and nurse ain’t doing it and you’d push statsney out of the lineup. Jarry needs to play better too but it starts on d. Bowman needs to do this now though he Fd up bad with mangapane and Freddy deals so he needs to clean up the mess and deal mang so they can acquire a top 4 Dman otherwise the oil could easily miss the playoffs imao.

There are too many individuals trying to do too much …..McJesus being No.1 …..just like he did in the Olympics ….. will he never learn that hockey is a team sport …..Hyman followed suite …..along with a few others …..he's getting predictable and the magic is not working anymore ….he lost his MOJO……worn out both physically and mentally from Italy…. cry baby Connor looks like a deer in the headlights ..or maybe just shaking his head having to play on the same team with his best buddy Nurse ….Spoilers would do better with his sister on the ice

  13. Feel bad for McDavid. Wonder where he’ll go in 2 years. He’s a lot about winning and Oilers have no prospects, no goalies, no defense.

  23. I am glad I missed this game. I took it after a long layoff. Things were headed for a bumpy beginning. There aren’t good goalies available. Since Buttman destroyed the Canadian teams in the NHL with his high ceiling and floor and cap rules. He has screwed up teams. We need better defensive players, another big center to win face offs. I doubt Connor Hellyabuck is available so we just learn from this one and move on.

  26. Get a proper coach. And fire the useless assistant coaches. That olympic break was for the coaches to figure out their problems…according to Knoblauch himself before the break. Sorta sounds like the entire coaching staff sat around doing nothing except drinking beer and eating chicken wings.

  28. Jarry let off some juicy rebounds, but how are the D not boxing out and/or clearing out those 2nd chances? At least get out of the way and don't screen the guy. Anaheim played a great game using our own defnse against us. Yeah Jarry maybe shouldn't be down in the butterfly on some of those shots, but we were up 4-2 going into the 3rd and we played like we were up 5-0. Where is the checking??

  33. Im not going to really take any games seriously till after the deadline as a fan. Coming off a month break is awlward for any team. Its gonna be up and down.

    But I will say, when teams get the puck and treat every offensive push as a fast break, it naturally stretches the defense to their limits. We need to play more compact and more of a full unit than just offense and defense.

    How could a game so wild get us only 2 power plays?

  40. I can't believe nobody is watching what the defense is doing. Yes the goalie is the last guy of defense but this defense has to go. Two guys getting 10 mil and what are they doing. they might as well stay on the bench, there useless. Bouchard is not a defenseman put him on a wing, let him earn his money. Watch Cale Makar and try to compare and you will understand my fustration.

  41. I can't take this anymore. If the staff can't get the best out of the players, changes need to be made. Will Davo never get a good goalie? Who is making these decisions???? I might not watch the LA game.
