I love when my two favourite things come together. Star Trek and Canucks.
I’m a holographic doctor not a general manager.
Well with GM Franky at the helm, I’m not sure if we’ll ever be able to have a proper rebuild. Seems like he’s still calling some of the shots in hockey ops.
Best case scenario we luck in to a generational talent like Hughes again.
They could have up to 10 post 2020 first round picks in their line up next season or (more likely) the season after. Granted, they absolutely need a game breaker this year or next, but I don’t think it’s not as horrid as what others make it seem to be.
Getting 4 1st round level assets for Quinn was bit of a fast forward button.
Morrison, Bertuzzi, and Naslund were not elite level players when we acquired them. They were all around the ages of Ohgren, Rossi, and Buium.
I’m here for the Star Trek memes.
Aqualini will strike a balance of cheap and fast to get back to the mushy middle and compete for that sweet 2 home games of playoff hockey revenue.
