My original spreadsheet projection was for getting 94 points when there were 36 games left. I forget what the minimum number of W/L/OT was when I first started but 94 points isn’t enough now. WC2 Boston is on pace for 98 points and already has a win on us
We now need to:
* Go 19-3-0 to get 98 points
* Beat Boston in our next two meetings
* All 6 teams in front of us in the WC race have to forget what hockey is
It’s not happening. I’m not a doomer, I’m a realist. Just give us March Meier Madness for the spark of hope that they still know how to play hockey and then let the season end
