13. The biggest mistake Leafs management has made is the evaluation of their core 4 wrt heart and grit. Of the 4 only Tavares had some and he was the worst of the bunch. They needed to surround AM with gritty hard nosed vets to shape the culture. He doesn't have it to lead the right way.

39. I love the Leafs, but you could see the writing on the wall in pre-season. So weird losing Marner, Kampf, Holmberg, and Tanev destroyed this team. Especially Marner. I knew Matthew’s without Marner would be disastrous.
