ESPN’s Dan Graziano on Tua’s future with the Dolphins:
“The Dolphins continue to tell people that they’ve had trade talks with teams and haven’t given up on trying to trade Tua, even though that would mean picking up a significant portion of his $54 million in fully guaranteed 2026 salary. But based on my conversations with other teams, I’m skeptical, and I expect Miami to release Tua by the third day of the league year.”

Malik Willis Dolphins rumors from Dan Graziano, ESPN:
“Miami could make a contract offer to free agent QB Malik Willis, but that Tagovailoa dead money could also necessitate the team spending little on the position for 2026. Holdover Quinn Ewers is a possibility mainly because he’s already on the roster, but his chances of winning the job depend in large part on who else the Dolphins bring in.”

Dan Graziano, ESPN, on Dolphins extension rumors:
“Expect the Dolphins to work on extensions this offseason for running back De’Von Achane, center Aaron Brewer and linebacker Jordyn Brooks. Miami is under new management and likely entering something of a rebuild. But along with wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins view those three as core players and moving forward. Waddle is already signed long term, but the other three are free agents in 2027.”

  2. Hope ESPN is wrong about Borom . He’s solid, durable and l think he would be just as good at OG. Saw film playing that position with the Bears in preseason and looked good there too

  3. Let also not forget next years draft should be loaded at QB I’ve heard numbers as high as 6 first round QB potentially stay with what they have and draft a QB next year

  4. Ride with Tua and Ewers. If we are in a middle of a rebuild. Let things role and look for a QB next year. Trade those we know we can draft capital and build up the salary cap

  5. malik, obviously. those stopgaps are a waste of money. whole point of malik is the chance to put it all together. within financial limits of course. i personally wouldn't want cousins or murray unless they gave us picks to take em.

  6. Willis has played 22 games. Half of those games he played good. The other half of those games he played like crap. So basically whoever overpays for him is getting a coin toss. Of 17 games in a season you can expect a return rate of 8 wins and 9 horrible losses. Why are we even talking about a guy who showed some good QB play in just 11 games?

  7. Ugg…Lions got a 4th,7th and player for the aging injury prone David Montgomery? How do we do that haha. David is good, but on the downside of playing career

  8. Just go with Evers, he is cheap…has potential. If he is good we still have a very young QB for the rebuild, if not then we get a great draft next year. We all know this season is a wash so why spend every dime you have left on Malik to further put the cap in debt and make is tougher to rebuild after this year

  9. The rumors are as they have always been,The Miami Dolphins franchise is a joke, the people who run the franchise are a joke, and just the next in line to be fired within 4 years, the owner is horrible, they are in cap purgatory, they will always be a bottom feeder in the NFL.

  10. The risk doesn’t outweight the rewards, because the rewards of having a franchise QB is off the charts. It’s just that we don’t have the space under the cap to actually take that risk. If not for that messy cap situation, sully would want to pull the trigger, expensive or not. I’d bet big bucks on that

  11. we have been waiting for quality qb play since 1 year of chad pennington-why not drop 20 mill per for 2 years on a guy that showed some real chops. next year our cap is much better.

aside from your 5 building blocks-chop jonah and grant all have to improve in 2026. that was a lot of draft capital

  12. Stay away from Willis . Draft another mid round Qb to compete with Ewers . We need to bottom out and collect draft capital. We are in a 3 year rebuild.

  13. Rolly can u stop d riding Willis please. He hasn't proven anything that says he's even worth 20+ million a yr. Any team that pays that to an unproven QB has money to blow. Miami doesn't have money to blow. We should add a late rd QB in draft with Ewers and Miller and sign a cheap veteran FA QB to help mentor and push the youngsters and see what happens. It's rebuild season so, it's a let's roll the dice season. In 2027 when we have the extra cap space we can talk big signings. Murray is toxic for a locker room I'll pass
