1. The leafs are sauceless chicken parm. But the chicken is lukewarm reheated nuggets the noodles are dry ramen and the parm is the powdered Kraft garbage but it's been sitting in a warm humid cabinet.

    I watched this game. 1. my buddy is a flyers fan. 2. either leafs win and hes sad which makes me laugh, or leafs lose and Steves sad which, sorry… also makes me laugh. Im not hate watching the leafs Steve… seriously I want Berube to succeed. We kinda like him here.

45. This OT win and the team itself is a sauceless chicken parm. They should be good, you can see things that theoretically make it a delicious product. But it doesn’t work. It’s missing something that pulls it together. A chicken cutlet is a beautiful thing, but it’s not a complicated thing. It can be good or bad but most of the time it is just texture, protein, and comfort. The cheese, it’s there as a contrast, a textural curveball compared to the chicken. But the art, the soul, is in the sauce. It gives the chicken depth, it gives the cheese something to combine with instead of just sitting on top. This team has no sauce and no personality and so it is less than the sum of its parts.

    I’m not even a Leafs fan. What am I doing with my life?
