Denver Broncos Tight End Options SOAR Up Boards After NFL Combine Week

The Denver Broncos face a transformative offseason after the NFL Combine spotlighted elite draft talent poised to fill their biggest roster needs. Can explosive prospects at tight end, linebacker, and running back revamp Sean Payton’s squad and accelerate Denver’s Super Bowl window? Cody Roark and Sayre Bedinger break down the deep 2026 tight end class, debating Kenyon Sadiq’s athletic ceiling, comparing options like Eli Stowers and Sam Roush, and exploring the value of double-dipping through both free agency and the NFL Draft.

The conversation shifts to linebacker and running back, highlighting potential first-round fits like CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, and physical standouts such as Mike Washington Jr. and Jonah Coleman. With free agency looming and the Broncos looking to add dynamic playmakers for Bo Nix, Cody and Sayre dissect it all.

Cody Roark is a credentialed beat reporter for Mile High Sports and covers the Broncos daily in person. Sayre Bedinger is the site expert for Predominantly Orange. Both bring Broncos Country the most in-depth and objective coverage of the Denver Broncos.

  1. I hope they will draft TWO Tight Ends. Either: TE Max Klare or Sam Roush as well as John Michael Gyllenborg. I like Eli Stowers as well. I hope the Broncos draft two TE's and then sign Dallas Goddert to train them up. I want this position FIXED for at least 5 years+. RB – I like Mike Washington and then sign Tyler Allgeier. JK is too injury prone. Love him but he has got to go. Good segment guys.

  2. Fantastic as always😊very appreciative always grateful proud to be a-part of the locked on BRONCOS FAMILY❤locked on BRONCOS a must first listen of the day🎉

  3. Love this TE class. I don’t think Stowers will be a target and he doesn’t block at all. Roush I like but has shorter arms probably an early Day 3 target. 3 guys I like is Eli Raridon, Oscar Delp, and Justin Joly.

  4. Broncos don't need a "blocking running-back". Better they go with 2 tight ends if they aren't going for a "running running-back" that averages more than 2 yds per carry.

  5. Fun show boys!
Not as deep a TE class as last year, but there are still some fun options! Sadiq is feeling a bit of a pipe dream to me, but who knows what we will do. If Sean and George love him, package a player and a pick and make it happen.
Roush i think is a good fit. Most the guys after the first round will need some refining, but they could be good players for us.
If Sadiq is gone and we are at 30, I am cool w CJ Allen if he is there. If not, trade out of 30 if there is a partner. Atl, Green Bay and Colts do not have a first round pick. See if someone wants to move up. Try to get another 2nd rounder, and go after Jacob Rodriguez. You can go trenches with the other 2nd rounder (I love Dunken as a fit if we move on from Powers), or even TE or RB 2nd round. Mike Washinton will prob go before the 4th now, so try to get that guy!
