Texas Rangers’ controversial “One Riot, One Ranger” statue honors wrong parts of history
The Texas Rangers unveiled the “One Riot, One Ranger” statue on Monday citing it as a celebration of law enforcement and their history. The statue is based off of former Texas Rangers law enforcement captain Jay Banks, who was prevented Black students from enrolling at Mansfield High School and Texarkana Junior College after Brown vs. Board of education.

Good grief. You said it right there Brice. The statue harkens back to/references the 1950's. We seem to be stuck in that era in many regards. Ughh.
