Schefter: ” Sources: Cardinals have informed QB Kyler Murray that they intend to release him on the first day of the league year next Wednesday, barring a trade between now and then.
Arizona already owes him $36.8M guaranteed in 2026, and another $19.5M would have triggered on March 15 for 2027. He now will be moving on.”

  1. At this point what do we have to lose..whether it’s Kyler or cousins or Carr..regardless they’re just goin to be a bridge qb till we draft someone next year…I’d be excited for a Kyler breece and Wilson combo for next year..pair that with a strong O Line we might be ok.

  6. Just say no. Another man's trash is not another man's treasure. Arizona gets it two or three wins next year gets you a top pick in a supposedly QB rich draft. Six or seven wins is QB purgatory.

  7. Jets and Murray are not a good fit at this stage in Murray's career and the Jets re-building program. Jets need boring competence at QB for this year, a veteran to hold the QB reigns until the Jets draft their QB; Cousins, Mariota, maybe even have Derek Carr come to camp. Murray probably wants a team that can make the playoffs this season.

  11. Kyler on a 1 to 2 year deal.
    Skip the qb this year in the draft make the best team possible around him. We can reload next year at qb if needed.

    He’s the best available right now and has to bust his ass or he’s out of the NFL

  15. If we entertain murray, this team is more stupid than i thought, hes just as ass as justin fields, if not worse. Theres a reason why hes dropped.

  16. I still would prefer Derrick Carr as our veteran bridge QB & Drew Allar as our young draft pick QB. I just don’t see Kyler Murray being a good mentor for our future QB. I know he’s talented, but don’t like the buzz around him not being a team player. But i guess anything is better than our current situation at QB

  17. I just want to point out, Young totally credits Reich with his development. Says he wouldn't have taken his next steps as quickly without him. Same interview he basically said Carolina's failures that season were NOT on him. "There were factors way out of Coach Reich's control. Nice way to say he got scapegoated.

  19. The Jets offered a trade for Kyler and the cardinals and his camp turned it down. He’s not willingly going to the jets. He’s going to Vikings or Miami.

  26. The cheap money for which he can be had now is all he's worth — especially to the Jets, who need a veteran to mentor whatever QB they draft.
