Albert Breer on Broncos Interest In Walker
ā€œThe tag also helps to further define the running back market. It leaves Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III alone as the top back on the market, and Walker will probably wind up getting somewhere between $12 million and $16 million per season, from a team like the Seahawks, Broncos or Chiefs. It also makes Jaguars RB Travis Etienne Jr. the clear-cut No. 2 guy on the market, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Etienne pulls down $10 million per year.ā€

  1. Nailor sounds just like another Marvin Mims. We need to get Mims more involved instead of bringing someone else to compete with him. Patrick Bryant was doing great in the slot when he was healthy. They both have sure hands. Mims catch percentage was 72.5% on the season. Bryant had a 63.3 catch percentage on the season. Mims had one dropped pass, and Bryant had 3 drops. Again, why bring in someone suited to playing the same game as two WRs we already have. We need a sure handed elite receiver. If we wanted a receiver (not necessarily elite) to play across from Sutton who is big bodied, great at contested catches has the surest hands I've ever witnessed in 52 seasons watching football when he's targeted, we might as well bring back Tim Patrick! ā¤ā¤ I'l never understand why the Broncos got rid of him in the first place. When targeted last year, his lowest catch percentage for any one game was 75%. They have his average of 62%, but that's if you count the zeros for the games he wasn't targeted. For the nine games he was targeted, but catch percentage was 95.3%. The last year he played with the Broncos, he had 754 yards in the year. He thrived with the Broncos an believe he would really thrive with Bo Nix at the helm. And at least he would catch almost every pass thrown his way, unlike Sutton who drops so many. Then they could look to drafting a couple more stud WRs to replace Patrick and Sutton.

  2. 14:41 if it’s not a 1 one, or maybe a really good number 2, I don’t want a WR. If we keep singing these mid solid receivers that can get you 300-500 yards and 4 touchdowns, we will become the green bay packers WR room with a Courtland Sutton. Green Bay just keeps signing and drafting a bunch of number 2 and 3 caliber receivers, and it’s not working. Thats how Denver is. Mims is a #2/#3 receiver. Pat Bryant is a #2/#3 receiver. Troy is a #2. And in the regular season we kept getting these other receivers like Lil Jordan Humphery who is a #3/#4 receiver and Elijah Moore who is a #3/#4 receiver. I don’t want any more mid or solid guys, same with the RBs. For me, it’s draft Kenyon Sediq or Sony Stiles if they fall and you trade up, or a WR who could develop into a #1 after Sutton, like Makai Lemon or Jordyn Tyson, or if a guy like Carnell Tate falls like Barron did, trade up and get him. As far as RBs, it’s Kenneth Walker, Dobbins, or a guy the draft like Mike Washington. I don’t like Algier, rather draft a guy, and Kenneth is the only guy worthy to sign, and I don’t want to see Walker and Mahomes

  3. Moose, you sound desperate, buddy, I will not overpay for Walker just because he’s going to the Chiefs. However, I would pay a lot more for breeze Hall.
