  7. At this point seeing all the predictions and such i doubt we're trading for anyone or signing anyone worth it, we aren't predicted to land anyone

  8. I’ve been saying this since before the Super Bowl. We could trade anfernee Jennings, jahlani tavi or marte mapu would be able to save around 2-3 mill

  16. I'd love Thibs on the team he'd be cheaper to acquire, he's not as good as Maxx but he's younger and will be a good addition to the Pats and as a Ducks fan having another former Sucks on the team would be awesome

Ideally, the Patriots off season goes something like this: Sign Jaelan Phillips if available, trade for Thibodeux, sign Cade Otten or Isaiah Likely to replace Hooper; maybe look at an O-line player; then draft an edge, hopefully David Bailey or Akheem Mesidor, but an edge in the 1st round. Then if they can manage it Monroe Freeling in the 2nd. From there either BPA or Best Player Available at a position of need. Otherwise depending on how the legal stuff plays out move on from Diggs and Barmore, hopefully by trading them to a team that's willing to deal with the drama, instead of just cutting them.

  23. This is such a YES. I'd do this for a 4th, hopefully a 5th + one of the 6th round picks. Plus, I'd draft EDGE and OL early, and resign Hawk.
    Thibideaux – 25yrs – 1 Yrs @ $14.75 Guaranteed – 2026 – $14.75 and you could extend him 1 to 2 years (at 18M – Market Value) if desired.

    Chubb – 30yrs – 2 Yrs @ $33.4 Guaranteed, 2026 – $31.2 M – if dropped 23.0 M, 2027 – $31.5 M

    Crosby – 29yrs – 3 Yrs Guaranteed at $92.5 M – 2026 – $35 M, 2027 – $29 M, 2028 – $27 M, 2029 – $28 M
    Imagine you could have the core defense back, add an additional high-grade EDGE in the draft, add an OG / T or both via draft.
    This also gives you flexibility if Diggs or Barmore don't fare well in their legal issues. I also don't mind paying Chaison or Hawkins.
    For a big money guy to come in, I'd have to see the Diggs or Barmore money gone.
