  9. To get the extra pick, the player needs to be on the roster for 172 days meaning he can only miss about 10 days, so there’s no reason to send him to aaa to manipulate his time.
    Scott, you should know this in your position.

  11. The Dominicans, after every hit, acted like they had a 9th inning 7th game World Series walk-off. Now I know that most of these Islanders lack a basic education, but guys act like professionals. This was a nothing game, against a nothing group of pitchers, in a nothing tournament,

  14. What’s up with Kerry Carpenter this year? Haven’t heard much about him, has he been hitting? Has anybody been hitting other than the (admittedly really good) rookie / minor leaguer?

  16. Watching the game I thought the strike zone for tigers pitching was TIGHT. Thought Ty madden and Sammons got hosed on some calls with 2 strikes but no k zone in these games so 🤷🏼‍♂️

  18. Mcgonicle is already better then baez and mckinstry. Should go north with team, playing AAA will do nothing for him, too bad tigers are stuck with baez contract. He would be gone if not for that. 2027 season will be be cut short. Contracts and owners and agents ( boros) are ruining game . Coming to a head next yr…….

  19. I liked Hinch put Madden back out after he got pulled from his 2 inning brain fart. He looked more normal afterwards. I liked the youth got a wakeup to what major league talent really is like to play against.

  20. Mconigle at short Baez in center DFA meadows. I can’t believe I’m picking Baez’s bat over someone else but meadows is that bad. Just cut him and move on.

  21. I could be wrong here but it's only 16 games that they would have to hold him out to get the extra year. Which is a no-brainer you do that 100 times out of 100 if that's unless I'm missing something.
