21. Maxx asked gruden about being cut. He was referring to cut block in order to keep him out the play. They didn't do that in practice. They cleared the air about that. And wouldn't the best protection for mendoza be for them to be on the same team?

26. As a Raider fan I really don't even care anymore. I understand both sides and it could work out fine for everyone either way. Enough rumors. Talk to me when an official decision has been made.
    I feel like Silver is trying very hard to make too big of a deal about a couple "welcome to the NFL" moments. Which in my opinion is part of Maxx's job. He'd be correct to say if you don't want me to get to him, bring in some fellas who can block. Now imagine a good free agent or young hungry o-lineman being told, "You'll have to earn your spot on the team by going up against the Condor. You better show us something." That's a huge motivating challenge to someone who wants to be great.

28. The only reason Maxx is still a Raider, is because they still feel bad about what happened with Khalil Mack. Crosby isn't and never was nearly as good as Mack, and because of that decision, he remains. Maxx hasn't been worth the money for over a year now. In his first 10 games, he had 2 sacks. then had 2 sacks in the same game once i believe. Its just not worth it.

43. I am a Raiders Fan. A long time Raiders fan. This is, in part, why Al got rid of Marcus. The Shield, and its needs, are always bigger than the name on the back and their wants. Maxx took the Raiders on his shoulders for 6 years. He’s played like a Raider. He is respected by the fan base. But what Maxx wants is not bigger than what the Raiders need. Including shutting him down for a knee that needed surgery, instead of him playing in games that could have made that knee worse, when winning those games meant nothing. It was the correct move, and I know I’m in the minority, but Maxx should apologize to the Raiders organization for that tantrum. Maxx’s demeanor has been tolerated because of his talent. I liken him to Michael Jordan or Dennis Rodman. He’s gotten his way with some things that maybe he shouldn’t have. This is what happens when you finally get told “No” when you’ve been given all you want ahead of that. If Maxx cannot see all of that, and the way things have changed in the organization. Then it’s time to move on from Maxx.

    I love Maxx…but he is getting older and past his prime.
    More picks or a trade hold more value currently!
    Plenty of teams would make a good deal for a trade or picks.
