  7. When it comes down to it, Team USA is just full of themselves. The players and managing decisions have shown that throughout the tournament. Skenes talking about how USA needs to assert dominance because we are America. Harper’s stare down. Cal’s refusal to shake hands. It’s all this toxic mentality of USA in wbc. Someone put that wbc is more of a collaboration between other countries than it is a competition. Which is very true. Other countries show more respect and have more fun, demonstrating what is the love of the game. USA on the other hand continues to show what I hate about baseball. Cockiness. Disrespect. Laziness. Entitlement. Immaturity

You have Cy Young winning pitcher leaving after one game. You got Cal acting like an asshole. The manager did not even know what the rules of the tournament. What a shit show.

  14. I said the same thing yesterday in the threads…they clearly had no idea. Derosa started the same lineup he said he would in the interview that he claimed we advanced out of the group. Then after the game proceeded to say he just misspoke. Then why play the troll lineup? The blame doesn’t only fall on Derosa, it falls on every single person involved with team decisions

  23. Losing to team Italy is going to change the way tram USA will be put together. From the manager down to the last spot on the roster. Skubal, you want to be on the team, we need you to make two starts against the best we are facing or dont bother showing up. We need a manager that has been there, done that. I love Kershaw, but no more giving up spots to legends past their prime.

  28. And every time someone pointed out how bad the vibes seemed for team USA, people jumped down their throats like “what??? You expect them to do the conga???” No, they should look like they give a single, solitary fuck, they don’t even care to learn how the tournament they’re playing in actually works. Not to mention how absolutely sloppy dogshit baseball they put out last night.

  29. At this point Team USA might as well give their spot (if they get one) to Taiwan or Australia or any other team who actually wants to be there. Seeing them phone it in after those other teams poured their hearts and souls into their games is so irritating. (edit: not to take anything away from Italy, they were far and away the better team yesterday)

  31. This is the reason why we lose this tournament every time other than 2017. We just don’t take it seriously enough while the other countries do. The fact that none of them knew this and blew it off anyway shows this, not to mention Skubal leaving the team to go to fucking spring camp. Like if you guys actually cared, then why is one of our stars leaving, and we’re choking a game we needed to win and didn’t even know it until it was too late? Unbelievable.
