17. Does Kyper forget that almost 20 years ago, the Leafs had some late pushes when it was too late qualify for the playoffs that raised them in the standings? It didn't help them.

20. That pick will be used to give to Chicago for Berdard. Maybe a simple trade Matthews for Berdard and use draft pick if top 5 to acquire McDavid.

24. Kyper is right, you'll never win anything if you don't have a winning culture. The Leaf's thought they could buy a cup by paying 5 players over $50 million. It don't work that way. And Sammy crying about players enforcing their no trade clause is kind of funny also, he didn't cry when Tavares did it to the Islanders. IMO they have to tear it down and build a team the old fashion way, draft and Smart trades. This includes team president and GM.
