YES START THE KBO SEASON
Korea flew 15 hours for this?
Damn just straight dominance
Luis Severino vs Paul Skenes lol
Turns out polar bears can hit
It is kinda cool you can walk off a game already up 7-0. Maybe we need a mercy rule in MLB.
God damn they got mercy ruled in the QFs. That was a beating.
Now we just hope DR blows out everyone else, so we can feel a little better.
Completely outclassed.
Thank you, team Dominican Republic, for sending us back Austin Wells but with swag
Much respect, love to Korea
Welp. We weren’t supposed to be here but we overcame odds and I’m proud of that. Really shows the gap of pure physicality between Korea and the major baseball countries. Much love to the DR and good luck ☘️
Skenes vs DR is going to be an electric factory
Skenes vs DR will be scary if it happens. Something’s gotta give, and I know Skenes is 1 of 1 but 1-9 of that DR lineup is scary
US team in danger lol
Yo soy… Dominicanodominicanodominicanodinicano
Ok that was brutal.
What is going on with pitching in Korean baseball that they had to use vets nearing retirement age to start games? They both got shelled.
quick and painless
Korean comments are brutal.
This Dominican Republic team might be the most exciting team I’ve ever seen
After last Saturday’s two real walk off homers, it was widely said (including by multiple MLB-employed reporters like Mark Feinsand and Sarah Langs) that those were the first walk off homers in WBC history. In a later post, Sarah Langs then referred to previous “home run to clinch a run rule victory” events, so they clearly don’t consider that to be a walk off.
Why, then, did I just get a notification from the MLB app calling this a “3-run walk-off homer”
There is a good chance DR will walk all over Japan.
I cant picture any team beating the DR they just too good but its also fun watching all those stars go all out
Mercy rule after pool play is whack imho.
Smh team Australia would have made it to 9 innings
(We would’ve been smoked)
Didn’t think there was mercy rule in playoffs.
I don’t think there should be a mercy rule outside of pool play
Happy the guys on my mlb team are on fire, but damn does it sting to see them crush my country to this degree. I’m glad we even made it out of pools, but hopefully this lights a fire in the KBO to get better.
Well, at least we get Jung Hoo back
What a massacre!
Agustín Pozos!!!
Damn. Korea isn’t gonna be in Rush Hour 3.
Was this due to jetlag or just the DR being good?
