12. Doug Mac , Dubas over paid his top four , allowed #88 to sit out , then gave in , setting the stage for being short for the rest of the teams contracts . Dubas drafted small defencemen who could not cut it , both Swedes with first round picks , Goalies drafted ? Dubas is the reason we never won rounds in the playoffs , giving away picks , drafting small players , no goalie , not exactly the way to build a winner used by Montéal or anyone else. Who chose Dubas? Ya right…

37. Rielly, Nylander, and Matthews need to go. Pathetic lack of personality and are not the leading identity this franchise requires moving forward. Goaltending is a log-jam; trade both and start Hildeby with Akhtyamov as backup. Treliving has shown his clueless management skills with things like Laughton and needs to be fired. Knies can get a big return so trade him. Berube should be moved into a bench coach role as basically head coach B and bring in Steve Ott as your new head coach. Tavares and Cowan should be on the 2nd line on a developing team with a key third forward of some sort. Bringing in LaFontaine with Ted Nolan and Bruce Boudreau as your new upper-management for this franchise would solidify an eventual winning mentality and identity this team desperately needs. Let alone a line of communication from player to ownership.
