Still no helmet for Kakko, which is especially noticeable tonight.

I mean, he was first star? How many times has the helmet gone to a star of the game or the first star?
As someone that’s a new fan, what’s the significance of the helmet?
It should have gone to Kakko. No question. 3 points despite getting only 12 minutes ice time…. I hope the guys realise that he hasn’t gotten any helmet and make sure to truly SEE everyone in the team. Like just try to please be more thoughtful about it.
Though as said, I’m not gonna blame the new guy since I think he’s the one who gave it. He can’t possibly know who hasn’t gotten the helmet yet. He maybe just thought to give it to someone who didn’t get a star, aka did not get any recognition tonight, but still played well. Though of course, getting a star and being recognised by the team is not the same thing at all. But I can imagine that that was his thought process.
Just feel sad for Kakko. In my opinion his confidence is his biggest issue. It’s so nice seeing it coming back after the Olympics. I think being recognised by the team would mean something to him. Especially since the coach gives him so little ice time.
I really thought Kakko would get it this time, but Meyers had a great night as well
Dang! Glad Meyers got the helmet but can Kakko actually get the helmet at least once?
This helmet I don’t get it – sorry. Please explain how this is better than the hat? It really bugs me. It’s just so strange to be passing around a driving:racing helmet imo.
