The Dan Wilson player disrespect is crazy!
He was arguably the best defensive catcher in the league for a decade.
Why does there have to be a moratorium on discussing anything? Maybe if an individual isn't interested in a particular topic they could take it on themselves to fast forward or ignore said topic? And yeah I agree with Colby- sucks the M's haven't been on tv for a week.
As a fan of the Mariners, who tends to wish for nothing but misfortune for everyone NOT a Mariner, I feel right now like I'm over the WBC. I wish it would be restricted to amateurs and minor leaguers or something. I feel like it creates division and not just due to handshake shenanigans.
Maybe not though. I think I'm just ready for MLB season to start.
The other thing about Marco is that he will always seem like a Mariner. He's a poster boy for the likeable Mariner image. Also I seem to remember "meeting" his wife on Root Sports and she was cute. That's worth points.
I heard somewhere that the reason the ABS system wasn't used in the WBC was that it wasn't available in all the stadiums that were hosting games and they wanted to be consistent.
